Job summary

Nutreco's Trouw Nutrition in Ashbourne seeks a Senior Production Planner to convert demand into executable production plans, balancing capacity, materials, quality and logistics. You will work across Operations, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality, and Formulation to protect service levels and improve schedule adherence.

You will lead a team of planners, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning process while reducing downtime and optimizing performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, supply planning or manufacturing scheduling.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Experience working within a complex manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Ability to translate customer demand into practical, executable production plans.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders to influence outcomes and resolve challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, executable production plans balancing demand, capacity, labour, raw materials, quality and logistics.
• Translate demand into clear production priorities and coordinate with Operations and other functions.
• Monitor risks to the plan and coordinate rapid replanning when required.
• Support short- and long-term capacity planning and IBP cycles.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Production Planners and drive continuous improvements.
