Job summary

Charles Trent Ltd is seeking a Production Manager to lead the swing shift in Poole. This senior role owns output, productivity, labour deployment and operational flow, ensuring safe, efficient performance across the shift.

You will drive multi functional teams, manage throughput and continuous improvement, and partner with Operations Leadership to sustain high standards and value recovery from end-of-life vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, multi-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering production targets.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, processing, logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of productivity, labour planning and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift to deliver safe, efficient and consistent production performance.
• Deliver daily production output in line with plans and targets.
• Lead and develop large, multi-functional operational teams.
• Manage labour deployment, productivity and labour costs across the shift.
• Monitor operational flow and respond quickly to bottlenecks or issues.
• Drive vehicle throughput and parts recovery performance.
• Maintain high safety, quality and discipline standards.
• Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement.
