Luton Bennett is seeking a Production Manager for a rapidly growing manufacturing business in Manchester. The role offers £55,000 plus a Benefits Package and the opportunity to lead 100+ on the shop floor, delivering production outputs safely, on time and to specification.

You will work with data and KPI dashboards to drive continuous improvement, optimise production flow and reduce waste as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Experienced Production Manager from a mechanical assembly environment.
• Data-driven with focus on improving throughput and efficiency.
• Experience leading large teams and driving change across operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production safely, on time and to specification.
• Increase throughput, capacity and labour productivity.
• Optimise production flow, factory layout and assembly processes.
• Improve schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
• Reduce WIP, bottlenecks, waste and lead times.
• Embed standardised work and robust assembly procedures.
• Drive quality and reduce rework.
• Develop Team Leaders and build a high-performing team.
• Establish a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
