Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates t/a talent-finder is assisting a UK laser manufacturer to recruit a Senior Production Engineer in Rugby, with relocation to Blaby after six months. The role covers design, production and programming of electrical panels, lasers and machines, plus PLC programming and CNC configuration (Aerotech A3200 / Aerotech Automation 1).

Applicants should hold a graduate-level electrical/electronic engineering qualification and have 5+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level qualification in electrical/electronic engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Designing and laying out electrical panels.
• Supervising production of electrical panels and modules.
• Programming PLCs.
• Configuring and programming CNC systems (Aerotech A3200, Aerotech Automation 1).
• Assisting with production of lasers and machines.
• Building mechanical assemblies.
