Job summary

InnoLas is seeking a Senior Production Engineer in the UK with an electrical/electronic background to design, produce and program electrical panels, modules, lasers and machines. The role starts in Rugby for ~6 months, then moves to Blaby, Leicestershire, with a strong emphasis on safe, standards-compliant electrical design.

You should have a graduate-level electrical/electronic engineering background and at least 5 years' experience, plus hands-on PLC and CNC programming (Aerotech

Qualifications

• Graduate-level qualification or background in electrical/electronic engineering.
• At least 5 years' industry experience.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations for electrical equipment and safety circuits.
• Ability to design and lay out electrical panels and supervise production.

Responsibilities

• Designing and laying out electrical panels.
• Supervising the production of electrical panels and modules.
• Programming PLCs.
• Configuring and programming CNC systems such as Aerotech A3200 and Aerotech Automation 1.
• Assisting with the production of lasers and machines.
• Building mechanical assemblies.
• Ensuring electrical equipment and safety circuits meet relevant standards.
