Job summary

Sky is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our sports production team. The role involves delivering smooth, planned processes for content creation across platforms, including event planning, bookings, accreditation and travel planning, with a strong focus on budgeting.

You will manage facilities, locations and staff bookings, source travel and accommodation, and handle contracts and invoices to ensure on-time payments.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience as a Production Coordinator in a live sports environment.
• Proven experience handling day-to-day finances including POs and invoices.
• Experience coordinating with high-profile on-screen guests with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to lead and develop less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

Job description

What you'll do

• Work within Sky Sports' production team to deliver smooth, planned & efficient processes that support outstanding content creation across all platforms. This will include planning events, bookings, accreditation, distributing planning documents and travel sheets, and budgeting.
• Manage the bookings of facilities, locations and staff for content production using demand & supply planning tools.
• Source and book all travel and accommodation for personnel including flights, hotels, visas and ground transportation, including proactive long-term planning in conjunction with Travel & Expenses team.
• Raise contracts, process invoices and expenses and resolve payment delays, ensuring suppliers and freelancers are paid on time.
• Provide support and training to new or less experienced Production Coordinators.
• Continuously review department processes to improve efficiency and take the lead on ad hoc projects

What you'll bring

Essential criteria:

• Substantial experience as a Production Coordinator in a live sports environment, including OB planning and onsite experience.
• Proven experience working with high-profile on-screen guests whilst maintaining professional standards and discretion.
• Competence with handling day to day finances including raising POs, processing invoices and resolving issues.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm to lead and develop less experienced colleagues and share knowledge.

• Demonstrating enthusiasm & initiative, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team, consistently delivering accurate results quickly. You should be able to prioritise to ensure deadlines are met in efficient and proactive ways.

How you'll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.This role may include occasional weekend, evening and bank holiday work.

Your office base

This role is primarily based in Osterley, with occasional on site production requirements.The office required attendance is 3 days a week.
