Job summary

Tide is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join the Security Engineering team, covering Product Security, Threat Detection & Response, and Identity. You will hunt vulnerabilities in mobile and web apps, secure cloud-native environments, and guide developers toward secure design.

You will mentor juniors, write POC scripts, and help integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with automation. This role offers a flexible, hybrid work model across our global offices and remote options.

Qualifications

• Experience hunting vulnerabilities in web and mobile apps.
• Strong communication to explain security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on with cloud-native security practices.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Dive into mobile and web app technologies to identify vulnerabilities.
• Secure cloud-native applications with best practices.
• Guide developers with secure design principles to prevent issues.
• Remediate vulnerabilities via patches or actionable tickets.
• Serve as SME across security areas, especially Application Security.
• Enable secure development by reducing gatekeeping.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise security standards.
