Job summary

Tide is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to own application security across mobile and web apps, and to guide developers in secure design principles. You will secure cloud-native environments, drive threat modelling, and help remediate vulnerabilities through patches and well-written tickets.

You will be the security SME, mentoring junior engineers, and embedding security into CI/CD pipelines so development remains fast and safe. Tide offers flexible work and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Broad AppSec knowledge across web/mobile apps.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite or similar attack proxy.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Proven track record with bug bounty, blog, talks or Git repo.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep into mobile and web app tech to hunt vulnerabilities.
• Secure cloud-native applications across cloud environments.
• Threat modelling and secure design guidance to developers.
• Remediate vulnerabilities via patches or actionable tickets.
• Subject matter expert in Application Security.
• Enable development by making security seamless, not gatekeeping.
• Mentor junior engineers to raise security standards.
• Leverage automation and CI/CD tooling to catch issues early.
