Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation is seeking a senior security architect for its Embedded Processing (EP) Core Technology Security team. You will strengthen security across EP products, drive architecture-level security, and influence company security strategy from design to deployment.

You will collaborate with product divisions, software teams, and external partners to embed security into products, ensure compliance with CRA, RED, IEC 62443, and PSA SESIP, and lead industry standards activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems or related engineering disciplines.
• Deep expertise in cybersecurity for embedded devices and secure development practices.
• Experience with cryptographic algorithms design, implementation, and analysis (AES, RSA, ECC, PQC).
• Familiarity with FIPS, NIST SP800 series, and other security standards.
• Experience contributing to EU security standards bodies and industry consortia.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Security Strategy for EP products.
• Lead the definition and strategic direction of product security for Renesas MCU/MPU platforms.
• Maintain alignment of security solutions across Renesas products MCU/MPU groups.
• Identify key partners for higher level infrastructure security solutions.
• Engage customers, partners, and internal/external stakeholders to identify security challenges and solutions.
• Work with global teams to ensure alignment and execution of security strategy.
• Provide technical enablement and training on security features and best practices.
• Represent Renesas in industry security standards bodies and consortia.
• Lead product teams on security compliance, certification, and evaluation readiness.
