Job summary

Renesas is strengthening the security of its Embedded Processing (EP) products, including MCUs and MPUs, AI accelerators and wireless devices. You will drive security through the full lifecycle from architecture to deployment, influencing strategy and collaborating with divisions, software teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in embedded cybersecurity across product lifecycles.
• Experience with cryptographic algorithms design, implementation and analysis (AES, RSA, ECC, PQC).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards including FIPS and NIST SP800.
• Experience contributing to EU security standards bodies is preferred.
• Ability to influence customer product selection as a cybersecurity authority.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity training, assessment, and certification for regulatory compliance (CRA, IEC 62443, PSA SESIP).
• Proven track record of leading security projects through decisive leadership.
• Strategic thinker who collaborates with stakeholders to achieve security goals.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive product security strategy for Renesas EP MCU/MPU platforms.
• Lead the strategic direction of product security and solutions.
• Align security across Renesas MCU/MPU product groups.
• Identify key partners to enable higher level infrastructure solutions.
• Engage customers, partners and internal stakeholders to address security challenges.
• Coordinate across global teams to ensure execution of security strategy.
• Provide technical enablement and training on security features and best practices.
• Monitor global security regulations and standards and guide feature development.
• Represent Renesas in security standards bodies and consortia.
• Lead product teams on security compliance, certification and evaluation readiness.
