Job summary

Capital is expanding its Financial Investigation Unit and seeks a Senior Product Owner to own the roadmap for investigation case management and customer offboarding. You will shape from the ground up, using AI to speed up investigations and build reliable workflows with engineering, compliance, and operations.

You will lead the development of end-to-end processes, ensure auditable case records, and align with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product ownership or product management.
• Strong financial crime experience across investigations, AML, fraud or customer offboarding.
• Track record of building workflow or case-management products for operational users.
• Experience shipping AI or automation that reduces manual work while keeping people in charge of key decisions.
• Ability to write precise requirements and work with engineers on complex workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder management with compliance and control owners.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the product roadmap for financial investigation case management and customer offboarding.
• Translate investigator needs into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead development of AI and automation to assemble evidence and reduce manual work.
• Ensure outputs are traceable with appropriate human review and approvals.
• Bring information across systems with clear sources and access controls for auditable records.
• Translate offboarding procedures into reliable workflows with approvals and sequencing.
• Deliver changes with Engineering through testing and staged rollout.
• Measure investigation quality and delays, using findings to improve performance.
