• Identify gaps in developer workflows and define new product directions in the VCS space.
• Explore opportunities from cross-IDE VCS clients and AI-native review tracking.
• Listen to community and industry feedback to determine priorities.
• Align roadmap decisions across product, engineering, design, marketing, advocacy, partnerships.
• Balance user value, technical constraints, and platform health with engineering leads.
• Shape external positioning and represent VCS direction to customers and the developer tools community.
