Job summary

Sky is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Subscriptions and Offers to enhance the customer experience in our streaming services. This role focuses on managing the product vision and roadmap for backend subscription management systems. Responsibilities include collaboration with engineering and using data-driven metrics to optimize the subscription experience.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in backend product management within subscription or streaming services, a robust understanding of APIs, and excellent communication skills. This is a hybrid position based in Osterley with various employee benefits.

Role overview

As the Senior Product Manager for Subscriptions and Offers across our streaming services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the customer experience for all subscription change journeys—including upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, pauses, and plan modifications. This position is responsible for driving innovation and scalability within backend systems to support evolving business models and meet the dynamic needs of our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for subscription management backend systems.
• Align product priorities with business objectives, customer experience goals, and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver robust, secure, and scalable backend solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with billing, identity, and customer support systems.
• Manage the product backlog, write clear user stories, and prioritise features based on impact and effort.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, and customer operations teams to support subscription lifecycle initiatives.
• Communicate product plans and progress to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Use analytics and customer feedback to optimise subscription change flows, monitoring KPIs such as churn, upgrade rates, and system performance.

How you’ll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 2 days in the office per week.
