Job summary

1st Formations in London is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the roadmap for our API‑driven platform. You’ll balance user needs with technical feasibility, guiding integrations and core product decisions as we scale.

You’ll partner with engineering, design and compliance to align strategy with architecture, measure outcomes, and mentor other product managers in a fast‑paced, collaborative startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience with ownership of complex tech platforms.
• Strong technical background with APIs, integrations and architecture.
• Experience in startup/scaleup environments with fast pace and changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for key platform areas including integrations with third‑party services.
• Define and prioritise API and integration roadmap with engineering on design and architecture.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical specs engineers can build against.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate build vs. buy and assess third‑party integration partners.
• Work with design to ensure user‑facing experiences are supported by architecture.
• Collaborate with compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
• Define and track product metrics and inform prioritisation with data.
• Communicate roadmap and constraints to senior stakeholders.
• Run discovery with users and stakeholders to validate problems.
