Job summary

Monzo is seeking a strong Senior Product Manager for its Payments Platform Finance Infrastructure. You’ll define the product strategy, partner with Engineering, Finance and Payments, and drive a long-term, architecture-focused roadmap to scale the bank’s financial systems.

You will work with senior stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Product and Operations in a hybrid setup from our London office, shaping infrastructure that supports multiple products and currencies.

Qualifications

• Senior PM with experience owning complex technical, platform, infrastructure or financial systems.
• Ability to partner credibly with engineers and reason about systems, trade-offs and long-term architecture.
• Excited by infrastructure that is critical but often behind the scenes.
• Able to work with senior, cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Product and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Defining the product strategy and roadmap for Finance Infrastructure within Payments Platform.
• Partnering with Engineering, Finance and Payments leaders to understand needs as we scale.
• Moving from reactive delivery to a strategic, product-led approach.
• Translating complex finance, accounting and regulatory needs into scalable platform capabilities.
• Prioritising across competing stakeholder needs while balancing urgent delivery with long-term health.
• Building financial infrastructure that can support multiple products, entities, currencies and regulatory environments.
