What we’re looking for

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead new product development and expand our value-added services. Our APIs connect customers to thousands of banks, facilitating smoother user journeys, reducing unnecessary payment fees, and aggregating account information to create personalized services. Our current projects include innovative payment initiatives such as Variable Recurring Payments (VRP) and data enrichment. This role involves leading these initiatives and identifying new products and propositions to advance our business.

This is a unique opportunity to be a leader in Open Banking, transforming how payments and data are processed. You will help position Yapily as a leader in Open Banking and Open Finance by managing strategy, executing new initiatives, and delivering APIs that offer an excellent developer experience.

1. Own vision, strategy, and execution for the Innovation & VAS portfolio, measured by OKRs/KPIs, driven by customer and market insights.
2. Engage with the Open Banking ecosystem—fintechs, banks, regulators, and operators—through working groups and bilateral discussions to build market knowledge, explore opportunities, and develop new products.
3. Collaborate with engineering to implement strategy, prioritize product backlog, and manage the product lifecycle from discovery to launch.
4. Define and monitor KPIs/OKRs to evaluate product quality, success, and impact.
5. Manage portfolio initiatives prioritization, communicate roadmaps internally and to customers.
6. Work with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and incorporate feedback into product development.
7. Oversee the go-to-market strategy for new APIs, partnering with the Commercial Team for launch and adoption.

Additionally, work with the VP of Product Strategy & Innovation to identify strategic opportunities, including market expansion, AI, and Open Finance.

For your new role

• Possess a product mindset with the ability to develop and execute strategies aligned with company goals.
• Deep understanding of API design and developer experience.
• Experience with products in regulated industries such as payments, ID&V, or lending.
• Experience managing products targeted at technical users/developers (APIs, SaaS, PaaS).
• Proven ability to engage with customers and solve their problems through product development.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong project initiation and completion skills.
• Excellent decision-making and prioritization skills, especially with multiple trade-offs.
• Team-oriented with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
