Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in industrial software or engineering domains.
• Experience with China’s industrial software ecosystem and Xinchuang standards.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, able to operate in a bilingual environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Engineering Product Manager to lead the definition, development, and delivery of a China-native AVEVA Unified Engineering product. This role will be instrumental in localizing AVEVA’s Engineering portfolio to meet China market requirements, including compliance with Xinchuang standards. The successful candidate will work closely with local R&D, global portfolio teams, and commercial stakeholders to ensure the product is competitive, compliant, and aligned with AVEVA’s strategic goals in China.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for the China Engineering offer, ensuring alignment with both local market needs and global portfolio direction.
• Market & Customer Insight: Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to inform product requirements and prioritization.
• Requirements Definition: Translate market needs into clear and actionable product requirements, including epics, features, and user stories. Ensure traceability from concept to delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with China-based R&D teams, global engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Compliance & Localization: Ensure the product meets local regulatory and technical standards, including Xinchuang compliance and integration with China’s domestic IT ecosystem.
• Go-to-Market Support: Partner with China commercial teams to support product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and customer success.
• Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs and track product performance post-launch. Use data to drive continuous improvement and inform future releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, preferably in industrial software or Engineering domains.
• Strong understanding of software technologies, Owner Operator, EPC or Engineering company practices
• Experience working with or within China’s industrial software ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Xinchuang standards and China’s domestic IT infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
