Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver the strategy for machine and AI access to ScienceDirect content. You will work across product, technology, legal, and commercial teams to shape how content is accessed, governed, measured, and monetized in an evolving AI ecosystem.

You will develop and maintain the strategy for AI access, translate it into a roadmap, and lead delivery with engineering—from discovery through launch—selecting APIs, connectors, and other mechanisms

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategy for machine and AI access to ScienceDirect content across product, tech, legal and commercial teams
Translate strategy into a product roadmap and lead its delivery from discovery to launch with engineering
Lead customer discovery and pilots to validate machine-to-machine use cases and create business cases
Shape entitlement models, access tiers, and governance around machine access and content delivery
Contribute to how machine usage is measured and reported for value of content
Monitor competitive landscape and inform roadmap decisions
Collaborate with architects and engineers on data formats, content structure, and delivery mechanisms
Understand licensing, entitlement, packaging or pricing considerations and AI content usage patterns
