Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver the strategy for machine and AI access to ScienceDirect content, coordinating across product, technology, legal, and commercial teams to shape how content is accessed, governed, measured, and monetized in an evolving AI ecosystem.

You will translate strategy into a product roadmap, lead delivery with engineering from discovery to launch, and influence entitlement models, access tiers, and APIs for multiple use cases.

Qualifications

• Proven digital product management competencies with high standards.
• Ability to use data and experiments to drive decisions.
• Experience owning API or developer-facing products and shipping with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the strategy for machine and AI access to Elsevier’s full content and align stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into a product roadmap and lead delivery with engineering from discovery to launch.
• Lead customer discovery and pilots to validate use cases and build requirements and business cases.
• Shape entitlement model and access tiers for machine use, covering identity, metering, versioning and revocation.
• Contribute to how machine usage and value are measured and reported for customers.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and translate insights into product decisions.
