Job summary

Formula. is a fast-growing cleantech scale-up in London seeking a Senior Product Manager to own how data and AI capabilities become products. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery with engineering, data and commercial teams, shaping a data-first roadmap.

The role requires 5+ years in product management, strong prioritisation, and fluency across data platforms, ML and AI. Hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office and strong impact on revenue and adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, including senior ownership of a product area, ideally across data, analytics, ML or AI.
• A ruthless prioritiser who measures success by business outcomes like revenue, cost and adoption.
• Commercially minded, able to take a technical capability and build the case for where the real value sits.
• Comfortable owning ambiguity, bringing order and a workable roadmap to products with several dependencies.
• Technically fluent across data platforms, LLMs, agentic systems, classical ML, evaluation and observability.
• Self-directed in a scale-up, creating structure rather than waiting to be handed one.
• A real feel for how AI is changing product and engineering work itself.

Responsibilities

• Shape and own the roadmap for data and AI products, translating fast-moving strategy into clear, prioritised plans.
• Take full end to end ownership of specific product areas.
• Work hands-on with AI, ML and data engineers to ship products from concept to production.
• Own the backlog, write clear specifications and drive delivery cadence.
• Define and track success metrics, holding the team accountable to measurable impact.
• Act as the connective tissue between engineering, data, commercial and leadership.

We're excited to be partnering with a fast-growing SME building a connected technology platform in the clean energy space. Their AI is already live with real users, data sits at the heart of the business, and they're now scaling out an ambitious data and AI-first roadmap.

As Senior Product Manager, you'll own how the business turns its data and AI capabilities into products that deliver real, measurable value, taking direct end to end ownership of several products and partnering closely with engineering to ship and iterate at pace.

• Shape and own the roadmap for data and AI products, translating fast-moving strategy into clear, prioritised plans
