Job summary

Moody's is seeking an Associate Director of Product Management for Property Underwriting in London. You will own the product-market fit for data solutions, collaborating with engineering, data science and commercial teams to drive adoption across Europe and the London Market.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, translate customer jobs into technical specs, and advance the business case and GTM plans while navigating evolving scopes and markets.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of product management experience or equivalent in property underwriting.
• Experience taking a product from concept to market, incl. geographic/segment expansion.
• Deep knowledge of property and casualty underwriting, risk selection, pricing and triage.
• Technical depth to work with engineering and data science on data products.
• Commercial fluency: build/defend business cases, pricing, packaging.
• Ability to lead engineering, data science, sales, marketing and client success cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in AI concepts; hands-on AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• London Market experience or familiarity with geospatial data, imagery or catastrophe risk modelling is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own path to product-market fit for property underwriting data solutions in Europe and London Market.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science to translate customer needs into specs.
• Define adoption paths and product design decisions across regions and carriers.
• Lead carrier evaluation programs end-to-end with insurers and early customers.
• Refine go-to-market strategy with sales, marketing and client success.
• Ensure commercial accountability and support business development in active pursuits.
• Develop and present the business case, financial model and GTM plan to leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional data sourcing, privacy reviews, and client engagements across Europe.
