Job summary

RELEX is seeking a Product Engineer to reshape how forecasting models are built and deployed for retailers and manufacturers. You will own model development end-to-end, from feature engineering to production, while collaborating across multiple customer environments and applying AI-assisted approaches.

You’ll work in a fast-growing, global team that values curiosity, initiative, and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Applied or theoretical understanding of modern forecasting and modelling methods.
• Proven track record of independently owning ML or modelling work end to end, from first concept to running in production.
• Genuine enthusiasm for agentic, AI-assisted engineering and comfort being evaluated on reasoning with AI tools, not only manual coding.
• Comfort working with real ambiguity and no fixed process.
• Confidence making decisions independently and shipping in weeks, not months.
• Comfort communicating directly with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve plugin-based forecasting models end to end: feature engineering, testing, and iterating on performance in live customer environments.
• Take forecasting problems from business need to a working model running for a customer, with ownership over decisions.
• Work directly across multiple customer environments, generalizing where possible vs. customer-specific needs.
• Utilize AI and agentic tools as a core part of development, pushing capabilities forward.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a distributed team with no fixed playbook.
