Job summary
Ryvita, based in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a Product Development Controller to lead end-to-end product development from insight to launch. You will drive packaged product innovation, quality improvements and regulatory compliance while guiding a cross-functional team across Marketing, Operations, Technical and Supply Chain.
This role requires strong food development experience, commercial awareness and proven leadership to deliver competitive products that resonate with consumers and support
Qualifications
- Strong food product development, innovation or R&D experience with a proven track record of bringing products to market.
- Ability to balance consumer needs, quality and business performance.
- Inspiring people leader capable of building a high‑performing team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) from concept to launch and post-launch optimisation.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality, performance and consumer satisfaction across the portfolio.
- Lead, develop and coach the Product Development team and foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products meet consumer, brand, technical, legislative and commercial requirements.
