Job summary

Seven, a global branded foods manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Product Development Controller to own the NPD/EPD portfolio from concept through launch, driving innovation and quality.

Based in Dorset with hybrid working, you will lead cross-functional teams, partner with suppliers, and ensure compliance with regulatory and labeling requirements while delivering growth for leading healthy brands.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with a strong background in Food Science, R&D or Product Development.
• Proven success launching FMCG products.
• Experience in product renovation and quality improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management, project leadership and influencing skills.
• Passionate about innovation and delivering exceptional consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own NPD and EPD; ensure formulation, process, packaging and launch decisions meet requirements.
• Define and deliver the product innovation strategy and pipeline.
• Lead end-to-end product development from concept through launch.
• Drive continuous improvement across existing products for taste, texture, quality and appeal.
• Lead and develop R&D and product development capabilities.
• Build strong partnerships with suppliers, research organisations and networks.
• Monitor and respond to regulatory requirements, including labeling.

Location: Dorset (Hybrid working)

Salary: £80-85k plus car and package

We're looking for an experienced Product Development Controller to lead the creation and continuous improvement of a portfolio of FMCG food products.

Key Responsibilities
