Job summary

pladis Global is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to lead breakthrough product strategy in the Savoury category. The role collaborates with global Innovation teams to deliver science-led concepts from protocepts to prototypes aligned with growth and sustainability goals.

You will work with regional product development and engineering teams, manage pilot plant trials, and ensure robust handover of development to regional teams while maintaining GMP standards and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

• Solid core technical skills in product development, with ability to translate concepts into prototypes and final products.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across regions to deliver innovations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the technical aspects of product design, meeting quality, cost and timings.
• Support the Process Engineering Centre of Excellence to unlock new-to-pladis processes and scalable architectures.
• Build global technology platforms for innovation opportunities and new process tech.
• Use data to make clear recommendations on product and process design aspects.
• Collaborate with suppliers to propose materials and processes delivering business benefits.
• Develop bench samples and run pilot plant trials with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure timely project documentation and completion of technical gates and specs.
