Job summary

Altro is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional projects within our Technical team. You will drive product development, sustainability, compliance, and process improvement from initiation to delivery.

You will manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and governance, delivering clear reporting to senior stakeholders while coaching teams on best practice and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, APM Chartered Project Professional or equivalent.
• Demonstrable project management experience within complex product development environments.
• Proven success delivering cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working within formal governance frameworks and StageGate-style processes.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience improving project management processes, systems or ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Leading technical and business-critical projects across product, process and operational improvement programmes.
• Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and deliverables.
• Driving projects through StageGate and governance processes, ensuring clear decision-making and stakeholder engagement.
• Providing leadership and accountability across matrix teams and multiple workstreams.
• Producing clear project reporting, dashboards and updates for senior stakeholders.
• Supporting the development and continuous improvement of project management tools, systems and methodologies.
• Coaching colleagues and project teams on project management best practice.
• Championing risk management, continuous improvement and Altro's commitment to Zero Harm.
