Job description

A leading food manufacturer with a strong UK presence is seeking a Senior NPD Technologist to join their Wales-based team, specialising in chilled delicious products. Known for high-quality innovation and long-term customer partnerships, the business is constantly expanding its product range.

Key responsibilities will include leading product development projects in line with customer briefs, formulating and trialling new recipes, and overseeing scale-up through factory trials. The role also involves presenting concepts to both internal stakeholders and customers, providing technical insights and creative input throughout the development process. A key aspect of the role is staying up to date with market trends and consumer preferences, using this insight to drive innovation within the category.

To succeed in this role, you will have proven NPD experience, a degree in a food-related subject is preferred. Excellent communication skills, a commercial mindset and a flexible, can-do attitude are essential. A full UK driving licence is necessary.
