Job summary

Wellio, a UK-based wellbeing platform, is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join one of our product squads. You will own end-to-end design, from research to shipped interfaces, working with PMs, engineers and content teams.

You’ll lead AI-driven design and contribute to a scalable design system, shaping how great design gets done with AI across millions of students and schools. We’re looking for 4+ years of product design experience, full-stack design skills, and a passion for user-centered,

• 4+ years of product design experience.
• Full-stack design skills and ability to ship front-end work.
• AI-native workflow experience.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills.
• User research and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design complete experiences from sketches to pixel-perfect interfaces.
• Build designs in codebase with AI and ship front-end changes.
• Check code with AI review and pair with engineers.
• Contribute patterns to a scalable design system.
• Design with AI: provide context and constraints for AI-generated outputs.
• Improve design system context in codebase.
• Observe teachers and students using the product.
• Run user interviews and prototype in front of users.
• Use analytics and recordings to identify friction points.
• Write clear interface copy with content team.
• Shape pitches with PM and engineers and present at betting table.
• Mentor others on design thinking and user-centered approaches.
