Job summary

RedRock Resourcing is partnering with a rapidly growing technology business undergoing a major transformation of its product platform. We are seeking a UI Product Designer who will own the visual direction and design system for a modern, cohesive SaaS experience and help set the standards, components and patterns used across the product.

You will work closely with Product, UX and Engineering, craft the UI vision for desktop, tablet and mobile, validate concepts with customers, and design

Qualifications

• Define the UI vision and visual language for a modern B2B SaaS platform.
• Own and evolve a scalable design system, from foundations through to reusable components and patterns.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs become working, implementation-ready code.
• Simplify complex enterprise workflows and make them intuitive, responsive and genuinely enjoyable to use.
• Design experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Create interfaces for AI-generated analytics, recommendations and insights, making complex information clear and interpretable.
• Develop intuitive self-service configuration experiences for business users and administrators.
• Work directly with customers and end users to validate concepts and improve the product.
• Partner closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Architecture and QA throughout discovery and delivery.

I’m working with a growing technology business that is undertaking a major transformation of its product platform, moving away from a collection of legacy products towards a modern, cohesive SaaS experience.

They’re looking for a UI Product Designer to play a key role in shaping that journey.

This isn’t simply a role focused on making screens look better.

You’ll have genuine ownership of the visual direction and design system for a new- generation platform, helping establish the standards, components and patterns that will be used across the wider product.

What you'll be doing

• Define the UI vision and visual language for a modern B2B SaaS platform
• Own and evolve a scalable design system, from foundations through to reusable components and patterns
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs become working, implementation-ready code
• Simplify complex enterprise workflows and make them intuitive, responsive and genuinely enjoyable to use
• Design experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile
• Create interfaces for AI-generated analytics, recommendations and insights, making complex information clear and interpretable
• Develop intuitive self-service configuration experiences for business users and administrators
• Work directly with customers and end users to validate concepts and improve the product
• Partner closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Architecture and QA throughout discovery and delivery

You'll ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience in Product Design, UI Design, Interaction Design or a similar discipline
• Strong experience within B2B SaaS, enterprise software or complex workflow products
• Proven experience creating or owning design systems and component libraries
• Strong knowledge of Figma, prototyping, visual design and interaction design
• Experience collaborating closely with developers around technologies such as React / Storybook
• A strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility and design for complex workflows
• The ability to think beyond individual screens and consider how an entire product ecosystem fits together
• Confidence working directly with customers and challenging assumptions where necessary
• An interest in AI-enabled product experiences and how complex data and insights should be presented

Experience modernising legacy products and bringing fragmented product areas together under a shared design system would be particularly valuable.
