Job summary

Source Technology Limited is seeking a Product Designer to shape tools for public sector and regulated organisations. You will work with a collaborative Product Management team to define design standards and contribute to the design system.

Role covers discovery to handover, deep problem-space understanding, and creating high-fidelity prototypes using Figma and Claude. This hybrid role includes London office presence with flexible AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience designing multifaceted B2B SaaS products.
• Experience with end-to-end product design workflows across discovery to handover.
• Background in government, local authorities, or workflow software is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the full design process from discovery to handover and post-release review.
• Understand problem space and design complex workflows with product management and engineering.
• Contribute to standardising design system standards within a maturing design function.
• Use AI-enabled tools (Claude and other AI tools) to move from concepts to developer-ready designs.

I am partnering with a fast-growing SaaS organisation that develop and revolutionize enterprise software products. These are high-touch, business-critical products, designed with an end-user mindset at their core for public sector and regulated organisations.

They are looking for a Product Designer to join their dynamic and ambitious team. You would be shaping the tools that public sector and regulated organisations use to manage complex processes.

As a Product Designer, you would combine your problem-solving, UX Design, System Thinking, AI-enabled tooling and visual craft skills to make an impact across the full product design lifecycle. Working hand in hand with the collaborative Product Management team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to defining the organisation’s design system and design standards.

About therole:

• End-to-end involvement in the design process. From discovery, to user research, through to developer handover and post release review.
• Develop a deep understanding of your problem space, working closely with product management, engineering and the in-house design team to design complex workflows that support the day-to-day needs of your users.
• Work within maturing Product Design function. An opportunity to contribute to the standardisation of design system standards.
• Use AI-enabled tools, including Claude and Figma, to move rapidly from early concepts to polished, developer-ready designs.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to explore and validate ideas, communicate interactions clearly and support product decision-making.
• Produce clear interaction specifications and comprehensive handover documentation, enabling developers to build confidently with minimal follow-up.
• Champion accessibility and usability throughout the design process, ensuring the experiences you create are inclusive, intuitive and effective.

About you:

• 3 - 5 years of experience designing multifaceted products with a strong focus on end-to-end workflows.
• Working closely with in-house Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Background in B2B SaaS, government, local authorities or workflow software is ideal.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including creating high-fidelity prototypes and working effectively within established component libraries and design systems.
• Hands on experience using Claude as part of your design process and an appetite to try and experiment with other AI tools.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, provide strong rationale, and document designs clearly so developers can build with minimal follow-up.
• Adaptable and self-motivated, with a natural curiosity for the problem space and a willingness to contribute from the initial conversation through to delivery.
