Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Glasgow is seeking a Product Design Engineer with 5+ years’ experience. You will own product design from concept through launch, ensuring patient and user safety and compliance with standards. The role offers hybrid working with minimum three days on site in Glasgow.

You’ll lead design activities, coordinate with engineering and operations, and drive lifecycle support for scalable products in a growing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven product design experience.
• Background in regulated environments preferred.
• End-to-end design from concept to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new products and enhancements.
• Champion user-centric design throughout the lifecycle.
• Drive design research, material exploration and trends.
• Develop specs with engineering, operations and marketing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant British standards.
• Create technical documentation for external partners and customers.
• Support manufacturing setup and ongoing production.
• Resolve issues via root-cause analysis and design revisions.
