Role Overview
You will use real-time data, industry trends, your expertise, and experience to make product decisions. You will refine ideas through experimentation and iteration, using data to validate hypotheses.
In this role, you will deep-dive into our vast amount of real-time data to support your insights and product decisions. You should have a firm grasp of your product KPIs and an understanding of your players and their journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify areas for improvement; formulate hypotheses; plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to enhance business metrics.
- Analyze large, complex data sets representing the behaviour of millions of mobile game players to address strategic and operational questions.
- Conduct user behaviour deep dives, identifying patterns in critical usage aspects such as playing, purchasing, and churning.
- Use pre/post analyses to understand how product and ecosystem changes impact users and the business.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define meaningful metrics and KPIs.
- Define and build user segments that provide business value.
- Support Live Operations analysts in defining pricing policies and game economy.
- Provide actionable insights from game data to influence features and future roadmaps.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Experience or interest in Mobile Gaming.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of deep dives and maintaining a holistic view of the product.
- Experience creating and reading dashboards for better product understanding.
- Proficiency with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Excel, and solid SQL skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions on product roadmaps, features, and strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex data clearly and understand requirements effectively.
