Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our team.

The role will report to a Product Manager.

Location: United Kingdom

Responsibilities

1. Specify software development requirements to meet the strategic, financial, and operational needs of CHAMP Cargosystems clients and support the development team during development.
2. Provide the most efficient solutions to requirements, considering product and technical debt.
3. Own the end-to-end business domain module and collaborate with stakeholders to agree on documented and efficient solutions, including functional and integration specifications.
4. Lead projects from inception to go-live, managing analysts and the development team.
5. Support and mentor other business analysts and developers in the development process.
6. Apply technical and product knowledge to analyze requirements and define suitable solutions for application enhancements.
7. Document functional and technical solutions, obtain stakeholder approval, and produce updated system support documentation during implementation.
8. Define test cases and provide Business Analyst acceptance for developments and fixes.
9. Create business process workflows, user interface designs, and mock-ups to simulate user interactions.
10. Provide support to the technical team during development and test programs post-completion for compliance.
11. Investigate operational problems, identify causes, and support the testing and implementation of corrections.
12. Build and maintain test libraries for manual and automated regression testing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with Air Cargo management systems and expertise in Air Cargo workflows (sales or operations).
• Knowledge of industry message formats, rules, and applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with common PC software and external interfacing systems.
• Systematic problem-solving skills under pressure within small teams.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and API documentation using YAML.
• Experience with API testing tools like Swagger and Postman.
• Creativity, analytical thinking, and ability to back ideas with research.
• Team collaboration skills, working with designers, architects, and clients.
• Experience with wireframing tools such as Invision, Marvel, Proto.io, Framer, Axure.
• Understanding of Agile software development, Scrum, and user story creation.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management.
• Experience in functional analysis and system support.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the Air Cargo domain.

The successful candidate may need to provide an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate.
