Our Global Procurement Team supports the wider business in procuring goods and/or services to enable the organisation’s daily operations. Using effective business partnering, we support the delivery of commercial value while achieving improved service and effective supply chain risk management.
Occupying a key position in the Procurement team, you will need to develop an understanding of our business and suppliers to maximise performance and efficiencies. You should be able to communicate and influence at all levels within Aberdeen and with external third-party suppliers.
You will work closely with SRMs and key business partners to share knowledge, experience, and expertise related to standard methodology. You will coordinate procurement activities for important projects and apply strategic procurement techniques to improve value for Aberdeen. You will also contribute SME procurement input to develop Category Strategies.
Responsibilities include mapping current and future spend, conducting spend analysis, scanning the market, challenging the status quo, and exploring more efficient service delivery methods.
