What you’ll be doing
You’ll be managing procurement from strategy to contract, applying innovation and compliance at every step. You’ll be:
Leading end-to end above threshold procurements across a wide range of categories via frameworks
Leading end-to-end procurements (over £25,000 and £200,000+) across a wide range of categories
Helping teams shape their procurement strategies and apply best practices
Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2024, PCRs, and internal policies
Managing risk, supporting contract implementation, and maintaining clean records
Enhancing supplier engagement and market intelligence to drive better decisions
Delivering measurable value for money and social value through your projects
Promoting collaborative working with stakeholders across the business and beyond

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who brings technical know-how, practical experience, and a great attitude. Ideally, you’ll have:
A degree in a relevant field (procurement, finance, business)
CIPS Level 3 Diploma (or working towards it)
3+ years’ experience in public sector procurement
Strong understanding and demonstratable knowledge and application of the Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Regulations 2024, and related legislation
Hands-on experience with e-portals, frameworks, and contract management
The ability to manage multiple projects with confidence and attention to detail
Great stakeholder skills you're a communicator, influencer, and trusted adviser
A passion for continuous improvement and delivering excellent value
