Job summary

Brook Street is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a major national installation programme across the UK. The role covers end-to-end procurement, supplier negotiations and team leadership within a fast-moving project environment.

You will oversee materials, plant and subcontractor procurement, build frameworks and negotiate rates to deliver a cost-effective supply chain. The position demands strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across materials, plant, subcontract packages and equipment.
• Develop supplier frameworks, preferred supplier agreements and negotiated rates.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors nationwide.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure service levels are achieved.
• Approve purchase orders and control programme spend against budgets.
• Work with project teams to ensure timely delivery to site.
• Manage and develop a growing procurement team.
• Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and cost variations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and GDPR compliance.
