Job summary

Brook Street is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement for a major national installation programme across the UK. The role focuses on securing materials, plant, subcontractors and supplier relationships to support rapid growth.

You will own procurement strategy, drive cost efficiencies, negotiate supplier terms and manage a growing procurement team across multiple regions, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or commercial management.
• Experience in construction, M&E, infrastructure, utilities or installation environments.
• Proven ability to negotiate supplier agreements and manage commercial contracts.
• Strong cost control, supplier performance and budget management skills.
• Experience mentoring or developing a procurement team.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across materials, plant and subcontract packages.
• Develop and manage supplier frameworks and negotiated rates.
• Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors nationwide.
• Negotiate terms, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time site delivery.
• Approve purchase orders and control programme spend.
• Collaborate with project teams to align resources and schedules.
• Develop and grow a procurement team; monitor market trends and costs.
• Maintain procurement records and GDPR compliance.
