Job description

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager who will lead direct procurement categories across the EMEA region, focusing on uninterruptible supply, service excellence, and cost optimization.

This role requires strategic category planning, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship management to drive long-term value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure continuous supply to support category growth and business needs.
2. Develop and execute category strategies tailored to regional requirements.
3. Lead and manage high-level negotiations with key suppliers across EMEA.
4. Conduct in-depth market and category analysis, including pricing, capacity, and risk factors.
5. Drive Cost of Goods optimization through tenders, RFQs, and compliance processes.
6. Oversee invoice processing and resolve discrepancies to meet service levels.
7. Build and manage supplier relationships for improved service and performance.
8. Handle financial aspects such as cost accruals and claims management.
9. Evaluate supplier innovations and capabilities.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree or equivalent working experience.
• 4–8 years’ procurement experience in an FMCG environment.
• Proven negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with SAP systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large datasets and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent cross-functional and intercultural communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Track record of process improvement in purchasing.

This is a hybrid role where you'll be expected to be in the office 2 times a week.

The salary banding is from £69,000–£75,000 plus a 10% car allowance, bonus, and benefits.
