About the role

SZC is owned by two shareholders, EDF and HMG, through NNB Holdings Company (SZC) Limited. The shareholders' investments will evolve over time.

The current development phase aims to finalize the Capital Raise Plan, including equity and debt financing, secure core supply chain contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction.

Previously, SZC operated as part of EDF's Nuclear Development business unit, staffed by EDF employees and contractors now transitioning to SZC employment. The organization aims to deliver a new nuclear power plant, covering all project phases from investment to decommissioning.
