Senior Consultant - Procurement at JSS Search

Location: London (3 days per week in office)

An established UK organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead the evolution of its Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) sourcing strategy. This is an opportunity to influence how a large organisation partners with technology providers to drive innovation, enhance service delivery, and modernise its digital infrastructure.

The Role

• Design and execute category strategies that align with the organisation’s broader IT and digital transformation agenda.
• Collaborate with IT and digital leaders to develop flexible, outcome-focused sourcing frameworks supporting agile delivery.
• Utilise data-driven insights, market intelligence, and cost modelling to deliver sustainable value and operational efficiency.
• Manage the full lifecycle of supplier relationships, including sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and performance oversight, focusing on high-value ADM services.
• Build strong, trusted partnerships with executive stakeholders across technology, legal, finance, and business functions.
• Monitor developments in technology and supplier markets to inform procurement strategies, ensure competitiveness, and proactively manage risks.

About You

• A strategic thinker with a change-focused mindset and a passion for using procurement to drive transformation.
• Extensive experience in sourcing IT services, especially within Agile, DevOps, legacy modernisation, and systems integration.
• Minimum of 5 years in strategic sourcing or category management, with a proven track record managing complex IT services contracts.
• Skilled in supplier negotiations, cost modelling, and stakeholder engagement at a senior level.
• MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
