Job summary

ABB UK is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of purchasing and logistics activities for the Leeds Manufacturing site. You will optimize plastics and electronics procurement, drive cost reduction, and ensure timely delivery while collaborating with EMEA teams.

The role is hybrid from Leeds (4 days on-site) with local and international travel up to 40%. You will report to the Procurement Manager and contribute to ABB’s industry-leading procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field with certification such as CIPS or working towards this.
• Strong procurement experience in manufacturing, specifically plastics and electronics with budget & performance management.
• Experience in developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and long-term objectives.

Responsibilities

• Takes full ownership of end-to-end lifecycle supply chain management.
• Executes purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize costs, quality and reliability.
• Designs sourcing plans to meet business targets and drives cost reduction.
• Supports implementation of sourcing strategies in line with business goals and budgets.
• Manages supplier relationships and tracks KPIs to improve performance.
