Job summary

ABB Limited, Leeds Manufacturing, is seeking a Senior Procurement professional to lead end-to-end procurement and logistics, driving cost, quality and delivery improvements. You will design and implement sourcing strategies for plastics and electronics, manage budgets, and negotiate supplier contracts.

The role requires robust procurement experience in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• CIPS certification or working towards it is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing procurement, especially plastics and electronics.
• Ability to manage budgets and performance.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end procurement and logistics processes to support Leeds Manufacturing.
• Lead cost, quality, and delivery improvements with suppliers.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive governance and KPI tracking.
• Conduct contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships.
