Job summary

Search Consultancy Ltd is seeking a hands-on Senior Procurement Manager for Power & Energy Infrastructure in Newport, Wales. The role is flexible/hybrid with a daily rate up to £600, starting 9 November 2026 and ending 9 April 2027.

Key duties include establishing an approved supply chain and PSL, implementing governance, and developing strategic supplier partnerships. Travel to hubs like Newport and Birmingham is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership of procurement in infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience establishing PSLs, frameworks and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Establish approved supply chain and PSL.
• Introduce procurement tools, processes and governance.
• Develop strategic supply chain partnerships.
• Set up framework agreements and call-off mechanisms.
• Implement supplier relationship management and performance monitoring.
• Align procurement with pre-construction and site delivery teams.
