Job summary

DWF is a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services with a Procurement Centre of Excellence dedicated to government procurement. Senior Associate or Director level procurement practitioners will advise Contracting Authorities and strategic suppliers on procurement strategy and lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with extensive knowledge of public procurement law.
• Experience of advising central and local government, wider public bodies, and suppliers on procurement law matters.

Responsibilities

• An advisor to Central and Local Government, and strategic suppliers to Government on procurement strategy and procurement implementation.
• Preparing procurement documents / notices in order to ensure compliant procurements are conducted by Contracting Authorities.
• Advising on direct award procedures, the lawful modification of existing contracts, and other Procurement Act 2023 enquiries.
• Advising clients on all aspects of procurement law and the procurement lifecycle.
• An active member of the Procurement Centre of Excellence; involving writing articles, presenting webinars and conducting training to colleagues and clients on procurement law.
