Synthomer is seeking a Senior Procurement Data & Insights Analyst to shape procurement strategy through analytics, automation, and market intelligence. You will design data models and automate pipelines, delivering Power BI dashboards used by Procurement, Finance and executives.

Qualifications

• Build data models and ETL across multiple data sources.
• Advanced Power BI with DAX and Power Query (M).
• Excellent SQL skills with large, complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel capabilities including Power Pivot and analytical modelling.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports and analytics supporting decision-making.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Passion for automation, innovation and using AI to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and build sophisticated data models, reporting solutions, and automated data pipelines.
• Transform data from ERP, market intelligence, and external datasets into actionable insights.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and visualisations for Procurement, Finance, and executives.
• Create risk, forecasting and market analytics to support decisions and resilience.
• Drive automation initiatives using Power Automate and AI-powered tools.
• Analyse market trends, supplier performance, commodity data, and procurement metrics for opportunities and risks.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, IT and senior leaders to deliver insights for decisions.
• Mentor colleagues to raise analytical capability across the team.
