Job summary

Johnson Matthey invites you to join as Procurement Data and Insights Specialist in Royston. You will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide actionable insights into global procurement spend, performance trends and risks.

You will partner with category managers to drive reporting across direct and indirect spend, and translate data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders. Excellent Excel and data management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Translate data into clear business insights and recommendations for a range of stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting findings to senior audiences.
• Experience creating and enhancing Power BI dashboards, reports and data visualisations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex procurement, cost and spend datasets.
• Experience working within procurement, supply chain, sourcing, commercial or finance environments (nice to have).
• Advanced Excel and data management skills, with a focus on reporting accuracy and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into global procurement spend, performance trends, opportunities and risks.
• Supporting the collection, validation and analysis of spend data across sectors, regions and business units to improve visibility and decision making.
• Partnering with category managers to deliver reporting and analytics that support category strategies across direct and indirect spend areas.
• Identifying cost optimisation and savings opportunities through detailed spend analysis and market data interpretation.
• Reviewing complex bills of materials and indirect cost structures to challenge assumptions and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Communicating reporting outputs, insights and recommendations to stakeholders across procurement, finance and senior leadership teams.
