About The Role

Senior Procurement Consultant

• Consultant to Associate Director level
• Location: Warrington (Hybrid working: home, office, client sites)
• Permanent, full-time with flexible hours

We seek a highly motivated Procurement Consultant to join our Warrington team, with flexibility for different experience levels, from intermediate to senior, to lead projects independently and grow professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering quality procurement services meeting stakeholder requirements
• Defining and implementing strategic procurement approaches
• Creating procurement documentation and managing end-to-end processes
• Securing stakeholder buy-in and ensuring operational implementation of strategies
• Gaining governance approval for procurement deliverables
• Producing key procurement documents such as OJEU notices, plans, questionnaires, and tenders
• Leading procurement evaluations and ensuring compliance with EU and UK legislation
• Providing procurement reporting and managing stakeholder relationships
• Representing clients and engaging with stakeholders and suppliers at all levels

About You

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in strategic procurement environments
• Knowledge of standard contract forms, including NEC, and Public Contracts Regulations 2015
• Ability to develop procurement strategies within projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Understanding of commercial principles and techniques
• Relevant industry experience
• Professional qualifications such as RICS or CIPS are desirable; support for progressing towards these qualifications is available
