Job summary

Education Authority in Northern Ireland seeks a Senior Executive Officer to lead and oversee summer transport procurements within the CPS Transport team. You will supervise Category Assistants, advise on procurement matters, and ensure compliant end-to-end tender processes that deliver value for money.

You will provide expertise in procurement strategy, contract terms, and performance analytics while coordinating with school leaders and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience across procurement lifecycle and public sector policy.
• Ability to manage value-for-money procurement and contracts.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Strong data analysis and MI reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Strategic procurement and contract management within CPS Transport.
• Lead tender processes, evaluation, and award decisions with deadlines.
• Provide guidance to clients on procurement matters and compliance.
• Supervise Category Assistants and develop team capabilities.
• Prepare reports for governance and maintain MI dashboards.
• Contribute to policy review and continuous improvement.
