Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and analysis.
• Proven expertise in process modeling, simulation, and data analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of unit operations and chemical reaction engineering.
• Experience with safety and environmental regulations relevant to chemical processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing chemical processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies, including modifying operating conditions, equipment, or materials.
• Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) to model and predict process behavior.
• Design and conduct pilot studies or experiments to validate optimization strategies.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with R&D teams, plant engineers, and operational staff to implement process changes.
• Troubleshoot process issues and develop corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, recommendations, and process documentation.
