Pareto Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Chemical/Process Engineer to lead process optimisation initiatives within a complex chemical manufacturing operation. You will drive improvements, support safety and regulatory compliance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

Reporting into the Engineering & Maintenance function, you will act as the lead chemical engineering professional, delivering capital projects, plant modifications and performance enhancements

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified Chemical Engineer with experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience delivering continuous improvement and process optimisation projects.
• Strong understanding of process safety and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead process engineering activities across manufacturing operations.
• Identify and deliver opportunities to improve plant performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Support and drive continuous improvement programmes.
• Provide technical input into engineering projects and plant modifications.
• Ensure compliance with process safety and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and maintenance teams to optimise operational performance.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators and reporting systems.
• Support change management processes and provide technical approval where required.
• Contribute to resource efficiency initiatives and cost improvement programmes.
• Participate in emergency response and incident investigation activities as required.
